How much do sessions cost?

Current session rates can be found on my pricing page located here.

When do you book sessions?

I book sessions on select Saturdays and Sundays, when my clients are typically most available.

How do I book a session and pay?

To book your session, simply decide which kind of session you want, then email me using the contact form located here or at joanmorrisonphoto@gmail.com.  A $50 nonrefundable retainer and signed contract are required to reserve your session date/time.  The remainder of the session fee is due the day before your session begins.  For your convenience, I accept credit cards, cash and checks.

How long are your portrait sessions?

Sessions last up to 2 hours, depending on the type of shoot and number of people and/or pets being photographed. Sessions are relaxed and fun!

Will you travel?

Sure! I bring the studio to you! I travel throughout the Greater Nashville/Middle Tennessee area. Outside this area, a travel fee at the current IRS rate may apply. Contact me for more details.

What does the session fee include?

The session fee, or sitting fee, covers the photographer's time, pre-session preparation, travel to and from the session location, and time devoted to editing the images from your session, and does not include any digital files or print products (except for headshots, artist shots and marketing/branding sessions, which include digital files for online and publication use). Basic retouching, such as brightening eyes, lightening teeth, minor skin smoothing, and removing leashes is included at no extra charge.

Do you offer prints and canvases?

Yes! I offer print products such as paper prints, mounted prints and gorgeous canvas gallery wraps. Metal and acrylic prints are also options. All print products are printed on archival-quality paper that will last 100+ years. Canvas wraps are sturdy and include a protective UV coating. Each print product purchased come with a corresponding social media-sized digital image.

Can I get digitals of my gallery images?

My mission as a portrait photographer is to provide you with a custom, on-location portrait experience, and later, a private online gallery of your beautiful images for you to select your choice of high quality prints, mounted prints, canvas gallery wraps and other keepsakes for your home. These print products will look beautiful displayed on the walls of your home or on a table, and they endure the test of time - long after thumb drives, CDs and digital images are lost, forgotten or accidentally erased.  Print products include a social media-sized jpeg image of each image purchased for online sharing.  For clients who really want to have digital copies of their gallery images, I do offer an option to purchase high resolution jpeg images with a print release.
